I bought a dozen of these bowls for my restaurant in 2012 as I had used many different styles of Hilborn Pottery when I worked at Langdon Hall. They got me great reviews from diners who said how memorable they are! They were used for side soups & side salads as well as for dips & spreads for catering functions. At the time I had yet to install our commercial dishwasher so in placing them in our large sink they were slowly chipped or cracked by larger items hitting them in the sink, not a quality issue. Even with heavy daily use they did not wear. I am restocking with Hilborn once again in 2015 in hopes that my undercounter dishwasher will prolong their life and I look forward to more happy patrons complimenting both the food & the bowls!
